Communication Consultant – Entry Level
As a young graduate at FINN, you will start working for customers right away. You will be helping account managers to send out strong messages through all possible channels and in the meantime you will be learning about strategic communication. Especially if you have a keen interest in the business world, this is a dream start to your career.
Who are we?
FINN is a strategic communication office in Brussels with a strong focus on innovation and quality. With our close-knit team of 20 consultants, we support clients across various sectors with their national and international communication assignments, from startups and scaleups to large corporates, but also governments, political parties and NGOs. With our clients, we work on matters that shape the world of tomorrow.
Our mission is clear: FINN wants to master communication in all its dimensions, from strategy to implementation, via all possible channels. We seek to improve and innovate our profession. It is only through excellent, focused communication that organisations can rise above the noise of today's world. FINN is a successful, award-winning growth company. To support our growth we are looking for a Communication Consultant - Entry Level.
You put strategies into practice. As a consultant, you are aware of your client's business challenges. You take them into account when implementing communication strategies and campaigns with the team. You ensure precise execution of specific actions (press releases, video scripts, copywriting for social posts, blogs, testimonials, etc.).
You are the eyes and ears of your clients. You maintain contacts with various stakeholders (journalists, influencers, etc.) on behalf of your client. You keep an eye on what is happening in the world and what could be relevant for your clients. You proactively identify opportunities to communicate.
You report. You ensure clear reporting to the client. You draw up media monitoring and clipping reports, keep digital reports up to date and report on activities.
You have an academic master's degree (not necessarily in communication) or equivalent experience. Through activities during or in addition to your studies, you have learned to keep a cool head in constantly changing situations.
FINN is a close-knit team of colleagues who share an ambition to acquire mastery in the communication profession.
We believe in patient growth. We offer opportunities to grow, but support that growth through coaching - and patience. We regularly set up internal workshops and meet and greets with interesting influencers, politicians or journalists. We offer three training days a year. We like to work with the latest tools to make our work run smoother.> Our lines of decision are short. As a team member you are close to management, and you shape your own path at FINN. Are you more interested in lifestyle influencers or are you more of a techie? Bitten by B2B or B2C? Crisis communication or internal communication? We listen to your interests and see how we can best match them through our work. We are a young and dynamic team that values a good atmosphere at work. We always find a new reason for a drink and/or team lunch. Once a year we go out together for a FINN day. Our office is located in the heart of Brussels, close to the Kaaienwijk, with lots of light and a view over the canal. We are easily accessible by public transport and by car. You can expect an attractive salary with a generous package of extra-legal benefits, including meal vouchers, ecocheques, mobile phone allowance, mobility package,....
