FINN is a strategic communication office in Brussels with a strong focus on innovation and quality. With our close-knit team of 30 consultants and creatives, we support clients across various sectors with their national and international communication assignments, from startups and scaleups to large corporates, but also governments, political parties and NGOs. With our clients, we work on matters that shape the world of tomorrow.
FINN is a successful, award-winning growth company (Gold Lion Cannes 2017). To support our growth we are looking for a communication consultant / account manager (2 – 3 years of experience).
You work on strategies and implement them. As a consultant/account manager, you are aware of your client’s business challenges and convert them into impactful communication strategies and campaigns. You ensure precise execution of concrete actions (press releases, video scripts, copywriting for social posts, blogs, testimonials, advice, etc.). You are involved in the entire process from start to finish.
You organise. As an account manager, you are the point of contact for our customers. You ensure that campaigns and actions are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality and you report on the outcome to the client.
You show the way. Clients rely on you to provide valuable insights and creative solutions that impact their reputation and brand. You bring the outside world into the hands of your customers, and bring them into contact with important stakeholders and trends.
You have an academic master’s degree (not necessarily in communication) or you have equivalent experience. You have been in a marketing, communication or public affairs position for about 2 years now and you have learned to keep a cool head in ever-changing situations. You are a native speaker in Dutch and are fluent in French and English.
You are hands on. A strategy is a mandate for you to do things. You like to get brands and reputations moving through concrete actions. You can zoom in on details when necessary and zoom out again to see the bigger picture – and the next step in the customer’s journey.
You are analytical. You quickly see connections between facts and can convert them into a convincing story.
You are empathetic and curious. You know your own strengths and weaknesses and can understand the point of view of others. Integrity is very important to you.
FINN is a close-knit team of colleagues who share an ambition to acquire mastery in the communication profession.
We believe in patient growth. We offer opportunities to grow, but support that growth through coaching – and patience. We regularly set up internal workshops and meet and greets with interesting influencers, politicians or journalists. We offer three training days a year. We like to work with the latest tools to make our work run smoother.
Our lines of decision are short. As a team member you are close to management, and you shape your own path at FINN. Are you more interested in lifestyle influencers or are you more of a techie? Bitten by B2B or B2C? Crisis communication or internal communication? We listen to your interests and see how we can best match them through our work.
We are a young and dynamic team that values a good atmosphere at work. We always find a new reason for a drink and/or team lunch. Once a year we go out together for a FINN day.
Our office is located in the heart of Brussels, close to the Kaaienwijk, with lots of light and a view over the canal. We are easily accessible by public transport and by car.
You can expect an attractive salary with a generous package of extra-legal benefits, including meal vouchers, ecocheques and a mobile phone allowance.
Excellence: we are meticulous and precise in the work we do for our customers. We like evidence-based methodologies, but we are not academics. We love getting things done.
One step ahead: we always think one step ahead. We are proactive and innovative in our approach to communication.
Integrity: we are aware at all times of the value and importance of the things that customers entrust to us.
Plugged in: we know what’s going on in the world, and we maintain good relationships with the policy and opinion makers. We take the Zeitgeist into account in everything we do.
